ITL has won renewed accreditation to Investors in People (IIP) – United Kingdom Commission for Employment and Skills.
The company, re-assessed as meeting the requirements of the IIP National Standard, was found in the assessor’s report to be ‘working hard to ensure people at all levels are well informed about the organisation’s plans and performance, and that everyone feels able to voice their views and opinions’.
The report adds:
‘Directors take the organisation’s social responsibilities extremely seriously and people at all levels can describe how ITL actively supports, promotes and engages with the community in which it operates.
‘Directors demonstrate a strong and sustained commitment to developing their people, a commitment that was recognised at the 2011 Oxfordshire Business Awards. People understand what activities should achieve and are able to discuss how they are applying their learning. In addition, people at all levels can illustrate how learning and development has contributed to improved performance’.
The report also commended the company for its corporate and social responsibility and work in the local community.
ITL managing director, Adrian Lockwood commented:
“We are all delighted to have our efforts in the local community noted, we are technologists, yet – whether employees, neighbours or customers – people are the pulse of this enterprise.”
