Geoff Knibb retires – Sam Yang works into double figures!

ITL operations director Geoff Knibb is retiring from his current position to take on a non-executive role on the company’s board, while ITL China business development manager Sam Yang celebrates 10 years with the company. Joining ITL in 2005, Geoff was first appointed a directorship after a four year tenure as the company’s operations manager, following its accreditation to quality assurance standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001. “Geoff played a major role in our attaining standards accreditation through aligning business strategy with customer-winning practices,” says managing director Adrian Lockwood. “He increased threefold the production capacity of our existing facilities through re-organisation and the introduction of more efficient working practice. “In addition, […]

ITL power trio runs for Muscular Dystrophy

A trio of hardy runners from ITL’s UK headquarters helped raise £985 to fund muscular dystrophy research. Internal Sales Executive, Lizzie Nunes along with Natasha McDiarmid (Purchasing Administrator) and Lucy Davies (Receptionist) tackled the Town and Gown 10k Run along with fellow customers of local pub The Bull Inn in Launton. “There were some challenging moments but we made it!” says Lizzie, who joined colleagues and fellow pub customers for a charity lunch with games afterwards. “It was amazing that the regular club runners from the office joined in to support us on the day” says Lucy. The girls wish to thank everyone who donated.

Elizabeth Nunes our Internal Sales Executive has a part time job at one of the local pubs in the area, (The Bull Inn, Launton) Lizzie and her colleagues from the pub will be supporting a local family by joining the Town and Gown 10k Run. After explaining the event to colleagues here at ITL Natasha McDiarmid (Purchasing Administrator) and Lucy Davies (Receptionist) have also decided to join in to help raise money and awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. PM congratulates winners at ITL-sponsored community awards

British Prime Minister David Cameron sent a special message of thanks to volunteers and community workers to win awards last month at a special ceremony in Oxford sponsored by local business, Integration Technology Ltd (ITL). Individuals and groups from across the county were being recognised for their work at this year’s Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Awards (OCVA) at the city’s Town Hall. Triumph cut short in Isle of Wight yacht race

An exciting weekend’s racing for ITL round the Isle of Wight ended in dramatic fashion when one of company’s yachts Ruff and Reddy was pulled short only 200m from the finishing line after a minor collision with another boat. ITL fielded two teams Ruff and Reddy and Adelaide Star, in a lively and memorable days racing in the 81st Round the Island Race, this year attracting an entry of 1,647 boats across 25 classes. Meet Loreley Müller and Sarah Manca … Longer term, both are studying for a bachelor degree in business administration at the University of Administration International Exchanges in Paris. Shorter term, Sarah (pictured right) and Loreley (left) are interns at ITL’s UK headquarters, and have been having fun, doing a great job.
