UV print curing centre opens in UK

A dedicated centre for showcasing and testing ground-breaking applications in high-output ultra-violet (UV) curing has been opened near Oxford, UK by award-winning British systems developer Integration Technology Ltd (ITL).Founded in 2000, ITL designs and assembles a growing range of UV curing solutions for a variety of inkjet printing and industrial applications. The company – winner of a 2009 Queens’s Award for International Sales – serves the industry’s foremost OEMs, integrators and system developers via support offices in Europe, the USA, China, Korea and Japan. ITL has expanded its occupancy at Heyford Park in step with the company’s consistent rate of growth. Its latest development on the historic former airbase is […]

UV output boosts 16% for inkjet curing

A 16% increase in energy output has been achieved for a ground-breaking ultra-violet (UV) curing system for inkjet printing. With the introduction of its 140 and 170 models, UK-based developer Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) has broadened the scope of its acclaimed SubZero emitter range, boosting UV output by 16%, delivering 230% more UV energy than the existing SubZero 085. Uptake of the SubZero range has been strong, driven by a small footprint and ultra-light weight enabling the development of miniature UV inkjet systems, not possible until now. With arc lengths of just 25mm (1.0in), 55mm (2.2ins) and 85mm (3.4ins), SubZero emitters are ideally suited to medium size printer/plotters and marking […]

Labelexpo Europe 2009 – Brussels

UV curing gets smaller, lighter, serviceable Printing benefits from previously unachieved compactness and low body weight in Integration Technology Ltd’s (ITL) latest generation of semiconductor light matrix (SLM) technology curing using ultra-violet (UV) light emitting diodes (LED). ITL is showing for the first time at this year’s Labelexpo Europe, the world’s largest event for the label, product decoration, web  printing and converting industry. Specifically designed for heat sensitive applications, the class leading compact footprint and ultra light weight of ITL’s new Solidcure technology is combined with high intensity output. The outcome enables the creation of minature UV inkjet systems, hitherto unavailable and the first truly servicable SLM.

Award winning UV curing innovator shows at FESPA 2009

Three live applications of different and ground-breaking UV curing systems for wide format digital inkjet printing technologies are a feature of award-winning UK innovator Integration Technology Ltd (ITL)’s stand (F100, Hall 1) at FESPA 2009 in Amsterdam, 12th – 14th May.The principal feature of the stand will be ITL’s new SolidcureTM range. SolidcureTM represents the very latest generation of semiconductor light matrix technology using UV emitting LED’s. Specifically designed for inkjet curing applications, the class leading compact footprint and ultra light weight of SolidcureTM is combined with high intensity output to allow for the creation of miniature UV inkjet systems. Intense commitment to R&D has positioned the ITL brand globally […]

ISO 9001 awarded for quality management at UV curing pioneers

Positive customer appraisal of its management systems has seen the awarding of quality assurance standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008 to a world-leader in the design and supply of ultra-violet (UV) curing systems to the fast expanding inkjet printing market. Oxfordshire-based Integration Technology Limited has been assessed and approved by consultants QMS International plc for the quality management systems, standards and guidelines inherent in its design and manufacture of light sources for use in the curing of photopolymer inks, coatings, sealants and materials. Originally known as BS 5750, ISO 9001:2008 is the most recent version of the recognised standard for quality management systems and places greater emphasis on continuous improvement in […]

DRUPA 2008 – Dusseldorf does it for ITL

A metaphor for how small can be beautiful was exemplified to visitors to June’s DRUPA global printing industry event in Dusseldorf June when Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) showed its new miniature high output UV LED Solidcure curing solution for inkjet printer applications. Held every four years, DRUPA is the shop window for new concepts in printing applications. With its compact size and ultra-light weight, yet high intensity output, SolidcureTM was a quick draw to the ITL stand. Commenting after the show, ITL managing director Adrian Lockwood said: “Visitors were impressed by the output to size ratio of this latest solution. “Additional factors such as the product’s scalability to suit a […]

Lightweight, micro UV curing breaks new ground for ITL at FESPA 2008

The potential of the compact size and low weight of a new generation of UV inkjet curing systems to expand process applications has impressed visitors at April’s FESPA 2008. New MZero is the latest development from Integration Technology Ltd (ITL), a pioneering designer and developer of ultra-violet (UV) curing solutions for inkjet printing and emerging technologies. ‘Baby’ MZero is particularly suited to variable information printing, small/medium size printer/plotters and production line marking and encoding.   Features attracting potential customers include the high intensity reflector system, the quick change attachment and rapid warm-up and cool-down. The new range has been a long time coming at the Oxfordshire, UK based innovator. The relatively protracted […]
